Dr Daniel Levy, PhD

Dr Levy is an experienced organic and medicinal chemist with nearly 35 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, contributing to the design of novel therapeutics targeting cardiovascular disease, cancer, inflammatory and CNS disorders. His work is documented in almost 30 peer-reviewed publications and more than 40 issued or published United States patents.

He has held positions at Glycomed, COR Therapeutics, Scios and Intradigm Corporation, most recently serving as Vice President of CMC at Mind Medicine, where he developed novel synthetic pathways, formulations and new intellectual property supporting key clinical assets.

Dr Levy received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.S. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author or editor of three books on carbohydrate chemistry and mechanistic organic chemistry.
