Mari Heghinian, PhD, is an experienced drug development professional with expertise in program management and operational execution across biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.

As Director, Project Operations, she is responsible for coordinating day-to-day program activities and supporting cross-functional execution across Island Pharmaceuticals’ development portfolio.

Mari has led complex development programs and strategic initiatives spanning clinical operations, vendor management, regulatory submissions, project planning, and operational oversight.

Throughout her career, she has worked with emerging biotechnology companies to build efficient processes, align cross-functional teams, and advance development programs from planning through execution.

Mari holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and Molecular Neuroscience and has dedicated her career to translating scientific innovation into successful development outcomes.
